RDK’s Oregon Rising Son
a stallion with a golden legacy
RDK’s Oregon Rising Son has never entered a show ring. He was bred by prominent Pacific Northwest Morgan breeder Carol Dombrowsky in Medford, Oregon, who appreciated and carefully cultivated the Marvelous Morgans bloodlines of Eleanore “Ellie” Mason of Silverton, Oregon. Ellie was a breeder who focused on original Morgan type, character and she happened to also appreciate a horse with unique coloring. Her breeding program prominently featured Moro Hills blood and her cornerstone contribution to our breed was the glorious stallion Marvelous Ideal, twice winner of the Get Of Sire class at the Lippitt Country Show in Vermont. Rising Son is by the celebrated stallion MARVELOUS INTRIGUE, a son of Ideal, who enjoyed great success as a sire in the PNW.
His dam, Blacksaddle Jasmine, is a daughter of the one of the most beautiful palomino Morgans of his day, Lin Kim Dancin. On the bottom side are famous New England Morgans like Chasley Superman and Gay Dancer, giving us wonderful government breeding.

Mission Statement
Our goal is to promote and build upon the reputation our stock has to offer the Morgan horse world for both show and pleasure, with a focus on breeding foals that exemplify Morgan type, temperament, intelligence, conformation, and God willing, a variety of colors. All Liberty Valley Morgans bred will be enrolled in the AMHA Full Circle Program.

Standing the 2026 Season
At this time, Stallion services are offered for frozen semen. Inquiries for fresh and live cover are also welcomed. We have partnered with Iowa State University Lloyd Large Animal Hospital for semen collection, storage, and shipment to US/Canada.
Our registered AMHA stock has been PSSM1 tested negative as well as color coat results as well listed under each profile.
